We recognize the distinct lack of private alternatives to products that actively train on users' sensitive prompts and answers, and sell data and metadata to third parties. This privacy policy outlines our commitment to maintaining your privacy.

PRIVACY BY DEFAULT: WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

We do not include trackers on our products. The only exception occurs when users are directed to Stripe to purchase credits, where Stripe may include tracking on their checkout page according to their own privacy policy.

We do not and never will use customer data to train AI models, regardless of whether you use our free or paid services.

We make every effort to delete data promptly and do not sell prompt or answer data to any third parties. You are the only person who should have access to your private chat data. You are free to delete this data at any time, and we automatically delete any LLM (Large Language Model) data after 30 minutes without monitoring its content.

COMPLIANCE AND PROTECTION

We respond to legal and government requests as required by law to prevent our platforms from being used for fraud, illegal, or unethical purposes. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy on any form of illegal activity and prohibit using our platform for unlawful purposes.

Where possible, we aim to strike a balance whereby the privacy of customers is not compromised. However, we reserve the right to ban, block, and monitor data of customers who attempt to abuse our platforms or violate our terms of service.

DATA WE COLLECT

We collect and process the following limited information:

  1. Email addresses of customers who sign up, solely to enable login functionality
  2. Subscription and payment records when purchasing credits
  3. Feedback, comments, and other correspondence you may send us
  4. IP addresses of incoming requests temporarily for security reasons only (to ban or block malicious activity)

We do NOT:

  • Utilize browser fingerprinting
  • Track user agents or user activity
  • Include third-party scripts that can be used for tracking
  • Sell any collected data to third parties

Our flagship offering does not require JavaScript to work. If you observe any third-party trackers or advertisement scripts within our pages, please contact us immediately at hedgehog-ai@startmail.com, as this would indicate a potential security breach or man-in-the-middle attack where your HTTPS session has been compromised.

COOKIES

We use cookies only for logged-in customers to provide "remember me" functionality. We do not use cookies except to track dark mode for visual appearance. These cookies are essential for the functionality of our service and are not shared with third parties.

TECHNICAL PRIVACY MEASURES

While we integrate with third-party search and LLM services, all requests come from our servers without customer context. This architecture ensures there is no reliable way to tie back queries or data to an individual user.

The LLM data is deleted after 30 minutes and is stored only in a database accessible to the customer who issued the query during that time.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL

We sell static .gif ads in the 90s theme.. there is no keyword or ad tracking. These are never hosted via third party or external sources. You can buy credits to spend on our tools, products, and offerings..

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our apps and website are intended for a general audience, and we do not knowingly market to or solicit information from children under the age of 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
